Our Story

Toricent Construction was born out of a simple frustration: scaling a construction business in Alaska is hard. Between managing crews, coordinating with GCs, and keeping track of everything—it felt like we were working twice as hard just to keep up.

So we built FieldFuze, a platform designed specifically for the challenges we faced. It worked so well for our own operations that we realized we could help other subcontractors do the same thing—grow their businesses without the chaos.

Today, Toricent Construction is a management consulting firm that connects skilled subcontractors with the right GC partnerships. We handle the relationship building, coordination, and data tracking so you can focus on what you do best: the work itself.

Meet the Founders

Two friends who met at the University of Arizona and built a business together in Alaska.

Jonathan Rose

Founder & CEO

Born and raised in Anchorage, Jonathan learned the value of hard work and self-reliance growing up in Alaska. He's been launching businesses since age 16 and worked as a mechanic through high school and college at the University of Arizona.

After co-founding FieldFuze with Max, Jonathan brought his construction experience and entrepreneurial drive to build Toricent into what it is today.

James "Max" Mifflin

Founder & CFO

Max grew up in Houston, Texas where he built discipline through competitive sports. He earned his finance degree from the University of Arizona, where he met Jonathan and discovered a shared passion for entrepreneurship.

With multiple business ventures under his belt, Max brings financial expertise and operational rigor to Toricent's mission of helping subcontractors scale.
